We offer a 6-month internship starting in April or May 2025 within the Sustainability team at Ecotone. You will join a close-knit team, including Carbon and Agrichain experts, who are passionate about sustainability and wholeheartedly believe in Ecotone's mission to drive positive environmental change and support biodiversity.

You will contribute to various tasks, primarily focused on supporting our efforts to achieve compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in the field of sustainability and work closely with our Sustainability team.

These are your tasks

Support the implementation of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive)

• Contribute to the preparation and drafting of the sustainability report, ensuring compliance with CSRD requirements, and highlighting implemented actions.
• Support contributors in drafting policies, action plans, and selecting key indicators.
• Coordinate data collection efforts.
• Prepare for the internal (mock) audit.

ESG Questionnaires

• Assist in drafting responses to Sustainability evaluation questionnaires from our European customers, suppliers and investors.

Contribution to other CSR Projects

• Participate in additional Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives within the team, supporting broader sustainability efforts.

What we expect from you

Education & Background: Master’s degree with a specialization in CSR/Sustainability (Audit, Business Administration, Engineering School, etc.)

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical mindset.
• Excellent writing skills, with the ability to synthesize and pay attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Knowledge of CSRD regulatory requirements and international reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD).
• Proficiency in English (the candidate must be comfortable writing reports in English).
