For our European ICT Master Data Integration Management Team we are looking for a


(Jr.) Master Data ICT consultant


Over the last few years, our organization has evolved from processing Material and Vendor creation to a more holistic MDM community,  becoming responsible for the full scope of master data domains: Material, Customer, Vendor and Production (…). This position will be mainly focused on the design, development, implementation and support of Master Data Management related tools and usage.

We are expanding our technologies, and systems to support, in line with this holistic growth of the business and MDM community.

Within a fast-pasted, international environment, the Master Data ICT consultant we are looking for, will help the organization to translate governance and rules into the design and build of supportive Master Data systems. Help building a landscape of connected systems (SAP S4/PLM/PIM/Winshuttle) with various master data objects in a consistent way. Multiple “single points of truth” need to be aligned within the landscape, shared and maintained. A high level of data quality is the goal always fit for purpose. The position acts as an important link between IT infrastructure and business users.


What will you Do?

As functional consultant you support several systems, in which business users execute their functions and use/create/change Master Data. We are in the process to enrich our organization with new tools and so design, build and support these new tools will be your starting point. Roll out, support, improve and execute tasks in these systems will be done in the team you will become part of.

  • Be an active project member in relevant projects, sometimes leading the project.
  • Be a functional ICT expert on various systems where it comes to data modelling, governance and rules.
  • Be the custodian of Master Data management cross systems.
  • Provide training to key users and support them in their daily job.
  • Enhance the quality of data by analytics and advisory.
  • Be an active member of the MDM community.
  • Work closely with our in-house SAP consultants.

  • An academic background or proper education, preferably in a relevant field or proven experience.
  • Fast learning curve, eager to learn and apply this with a practical mindset.
  • A good communicator, connector and team player.
  • Fluent in English, any other language could be a plus.
  • Experience in and knowledge about, the world of Master Data management.
  • Accurate, analytical, good eye for the bigger picture and capable of seeing the relationship between systems.
  • Organized, flexible and independent though working as a team player.
  • Experience with SAP, for example as key user or consultancy.
  • Knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with Winshuttle software would be a plus.
  • Experience with or understanding of PLM and/or PIM systems.
  • Experience with Data pools (like GS1).
  • Techniques like API’s, EDI and interfaces do not scare you?
