Purpose of the role: Strategic global role responsible for building structural competitive advantage through Digital Shelf excellence, global performance transparency and data-driven decision enablement.
The role acts as the Digital Commerce Control Tower, owning global online sales reporting, KPI harmonisation, external market intelligence and conversion governance across markets. It additionally provides the analytical backbone for Retail Media performance measurement to ensure media investment decisions are grounded in accurate, comparable data across all markets. Ultimately this role is the foundation and driving force to identify & initiate growth opportunities within the online channel.
Scope: FR, UK, DE, NL, ES, IT and future markets; Cross-functional collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Innovation and IT
Sales turnover responsibility: Indirect — accountable for reporting accuracy, performance transparency, conversion enablement and Retail Media measurement quality
Responsibilities:
Global Sales Reporting & KPI Harmonisation
- Own global online sales consolidation and executive dashboards
- Harmonise KPI definitions across markets
- Ensure monthly and quarterly performance transparency
- Enable cross-country comparability and target tracking
Contribution & Performance Transparency
- Standardise reporting structure for revenue, trade and media impact
- Provide data foundation for commercial decision-making
- Ensure consistent performance measurement across platforms
External Market Data & Competitive Intelligence
- Own integration of external market data (e.g. Nielsen, Circana or equivalent)
- Track category growth, market share and competitive dynamics
- Monitor pricing benchmarks and structural market shifts
- Deliver actionable insights to commercial and innovation teams
Digital Shelf & Conversion Governance
- Define global PDP and content standards
- Establish Digital Shelf scorecards and compliance frameworks
- Develop rating and review strategy
- Ensure structured product data and AI-readiness
- Monitor ranking and conversion drivers
Retail Media Performance Measurement
- Own the global Retail Media performance reporting framework — ROAS, TACoS, Media-to-Sales Ratio, Incrementality
- Provide cross-market Retail Media benchmarking data that enables investment comparisons and efficiency improvements
- Ensure media spend impact is visible in contribution reporting — connecting A&P investment to net revenue outcomes
- Supply performance data feeds that support agency governance and investment allocation decisions
Portfolio & Innovation Enablement
- Identify channel-specific SKU opportunities in collaboration with the Global Amazon Lead
- Support business case development through performance data
- Feed platform insights into global innovation pipeline
- Define scaling criteria for online-driven innovations
Experience & Skills:
- 3–6 years experience in eCommerce analytics, Digital Shelf or performance roles
- Strong reporting and dashboarding capability (Power BI, Tableau or similar)
- Experience integrating external market data sources
- Understanding of Retail Media metrics and media performance measurement preferred
- FMCG experience preferred
- Strong analytical and structured thinking capability
- Fluent in English
